About Us

Location

Rolling Stone Ranch began as our family's "Get Away". We found the property years ago while looking for a place to unwind and escape from the fast pace of New York City, and the tensions of the work week.

Having had horses in the family for more than 25 years, it seemed to be the perfect place for us and our friends to congregate and to have some fun. We sit on twenty beautifully groomed acres comprised of pastures and woods. The stables, indoor and outdoor arenas are just perfect. The property was originally developed by a professional horse trainer, who since relocated.

The location of the ranch, in Bethel, New York, just 90 miles from New York City, is the home of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival, now the home of Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts, is nestled in the Catskill mountains in what has for generations been a resort area. Maybe it's the air, the hills, the trees or the spirit in the sky, when you are in Bethel, you are at ease.

About a mile to our East is Kauneonga Lake, also known as White Lake, a year round sportsman's and vacation paradise. One mile to our West, is the site of the original stage of the most famous musical and cultural event of our lifetime, The Woodstock Festival, the aura of Peace and Love still permeates the surroundings.

With all of this going on, we decided to share what we have with others, so we have secured some amazing horses, an awesome riding instructor, and offer riding lessons for all ages and all skill levels as well as trail rides, pony parties, boarding and merit badges for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
